If you speak or read Chinese already, you probably don't need much explaining on what a "Soft Rice King" is but for those of you who are unfamiliar, "eating soft rice" is a Chinese urban slang labeling a man who lives off of a woman or in western culture, known as "a guy who has a sugar mama"... "Eating soft rice" only applies to men as the Chinese culture is largely patriarcal. When rice is soft, it's easier to eat and hence, men relying on women to put food on the table are coined as "eating soft rice"; insinuating that they are taking the easy way out.

As negative as it sounds, it's actually a lot of men's secret dream and there's nothing wrong with that. It's simply a lifestyle choice. Who says men have to be the bread winners? Why should we conform to societal pressure? Why should we feel ashamed? Why not proudly be the KING of "eating soft rice"?!
